This programme was the largest IT project delivered within its history. Comprising the upgrade of the underlying Network Infrastructure to a new innovative Next Generation Service Provider MPLS VPN network was delivered over a 5 year period, between 2005 and 2009. It included management through the full lifecycle from concept phase, through approval, initiation, design, implementation and migration phases, to the documentation, integration and handover to operations of 5 of the UKs largest Airports and Data Centres.

The Telecoms Programme :

  • Design and implementation of new fully virtualised data centre multivendor firewall solution.
  • Traffic flow analysis and firewall rulebase generation and implementation.
  • Qualilty of Service deployed over common infrastructure to support latency sensitive critical traffic such as Voice and CCTV.
  • Implementation of a complete Network Management Suite, including SMARTS, Alterpoint, ISC VPN Provisioning tools.
